Angry Birds and Transformers collide in this action-packed, 3D shoot ‘em up adventure! The EggSpark has transformed the eggs into crazed robots who are destroying Piggy Island, but who can stop them?! Autobirds, ROLL OUT!

Have you ever seen an alien robot Angry Bird? Enter the AUTOBIRDS! This brave band of heroes features Red as Optimus Prime, Chuck as Bumblebee and… well you’ll meet the rest soon. They’ve got lasers and they turn into cars. Plus they have arms and legs – that’s a first!

But the courageous Autobirds can’t save Piggy Island on their own – to stop the EggBots they’ll need to join forces with their arch rivals the DECEPTIHOGS (like Decepticons only smellier). Can these bitter enemies team up and put aside their differences? Yeah right....

Customer Reviews

Great design, not worth 20 bucks...
Let's make this clear right away before we get to the bad stuff: Rovio has put together a product that is incredibly clever, beautifully designed, and one that will actually please old-school transformers fans like myself. Hiring Vince DiCola to do the soundtrack was a nice touch. However, the shine wears off quickly when you realize how horribly imbalanced it is. There are too many timers, and almost no way to generate coins after you hit level 25 (which, let's face it, is pretty early). What this means is that to keep playing, you will need to spend a minimum of 15 bucks (I figure about 5 each) just to unlock the next three areas, and God only knows how much they'll ask you to spend after that. Go ahead and try it, you'll see what I mean. Whatever coins you might generate on your own are instantly used to repair or upgrade your 'bots (they don't heal themselves), essentially handcuffing your ability to go further without paying a huge amount. Sorry Rovio. I may love Megatron, but I don't have a Mega-wallet. I'd rather you be up front and sell me a more balanced game for the price of 5-10 bucks than this see you try to endlessly siphon money out my pockets like energon. I appreciate the work you guys did putting this together. However, the steep, hidden price tag comes off as more than a little insincere.

This is the Transformers game every fan should have.
Let me start by saying that I was not interested in this game when it was announced. I didn't follow the news for it and I already had it in my head that it would be just like AB Star Wars. A re-skinned Angry Birds with gimmicky features. I couldn't have been more wrong. Rovio has proven that they can do more than just slingshots and green pigs with Angry Birds. First, this game is an amazing fan service. The soundtrack alone reminds me of Transformers before it was ruined. That's right, this isn't just based on the Bayformers, it has Gen-1 characters like Soundwave, Starscream (who actually look like they should, although with a pig head) and Ultra Magnus. Each character has a certain weapon (they do overlap, such as Bumblebee has the same weapon as Starscream) and one of 3 energon special moves. The gameplay is easy enough to learn, although the aiming could use some work. But once you've played for a while the levels become more and more challenging requiring a bit more thought, such as breaking certain blocks to cause a chain reaction instead of attacking individual pigs. It's plenty of fun for both fans of Angry Birds and Transformers alike.

Game was fun until the timers showed up.
(I'm going to say the bad stuff first and then the best) This game would have been better if the timers were eliminated or at-least 50% faster it's always timer, timer, timer and more timers taking the fun out of the game. Its expensive to buy and unlock new areas but it even takes longer to to get coins and buy the areas needed to progress through the game because the areas you've completed has a timer to regenerate and the rest of the levels you completed is a coin regeneration giving you coins. Completing a level is a good feeling but fades away because you get less rewards. Upgrading is also a thing because there's a timer so it takes longer, not only that when your robot is damaged you need to repair it but has a timer . This game is literaly a waiting game making you play on other games. There are benefits in this game when your robots are upgraded they show visual changes and high light what has changed also this not an ordinary angry birds game so I'm glad they made a diffrent approach to the game and there are tons of diffrent of robots in the game but expect to see some robot styles you don't like. I rate 3 stars because the timers are everywhere making the progression very slow, the rest is good.
