Overall a Great App!
I really like using this app to make edits/collages for my vine. It allows you to import gifs and your own videos into the collage. It also lets you add your own music to the collage. The only problems I have run into while using the app was saving to my camera roll. Sometimes it would say "Unable to save to camera roll. Please try again later." But, would eventually fix the problem. Another problem I had was just a minor crashing problem. Sometimes it would shut me out of the app while I was in the middle of making a collage. But, other than those few problems, it's a great app to make collages/edits on!! I'm so glad I bought it!!

I AM SO FRUSTRATED
I downloaded this app for a fun edit account on vine (x0x0nedirecti0nx0x if you wanna follow 😉) but first of all, to share to vine I have to go through a long complicated process that just isn't fun. Second of all I couldn't get to that process because whenever I try to apply filters, the app crashed. Third of all it had previewing and sharing errors every time I tried to preview or share! Please help me! How do I fix these errors and crashes? Update soon? I am so upset, I would love this app if it didn't crash or have errors and had easy sharing to vine! Don't worry x0x0nedirecti0nx0x followers, I will get edits posted via a new app or if I can figure out this one! Please help, my account relies on this!

Has Some Glitches
This is app is great. All my projects come out the way I want with my favorite songs. I love the filters and the it's ability to add gifs but after a while it won't let me play my gifs or videos. It'll turn back and the only way to fix this is if I stop using this for the rest of the day or delete it and downloading it again. I will really appreciate if this gets fixed. Overall, it's an outstanding app but just needs some touch ups.

Powerfully fun!
Have had much fun with this app! Mom or dad's head on their baby's head, lol. So many tools at hand, blemishes disappear with more than one option, change eye colors, blur background... Endless options. Glamour shots ain't got nothin on this app! Ha! Great app, worth the money! I'll be using it as one of my main photo editing apps for fun &/or a more professional picture enhancements. I've been looking for this very app for months now and Presto. Excellent ideas in this one!

LOVE
I am just a normal girl but I have a scar on my forehead that reflects light. It's diagonal, about an inch long, half a centimeter thick, between my eyebrows and it's indented although it's the same color of my skin. This means that good pictures are possible from certain angles only. Now I can touch up the scar and any blemishes easily. I also have a boxer dog that is so very photogenic but sometimes has eye and nose boogers. This app helps me clean up his act too! On myself, I can also add a little "blush" if I look pale, which is nice. Perfect and ABSOLUTELY WORTH PURCHASING!

My favorite photo app
FaceTune is spectacular! I've tried a number of others and none are as good and easy as this one. It also has some of the best filters that are unique to the common ones in mainstream social media apps. This has also saved me from taking a handful if pics to "get a good one" when I can take an otherwise good photo that might have a scrunched forehead due to bright light and not realizing that I was somewhat squinting. This is easy. Fast. Effective. Just wish it also worked on an iPad! Strong recommendation here!!!

What's New in Version 5.1

For Camera+ 5.1 we’ve made a bunch of refinements to The Lab, making the best photo editing on a mobile phone even better. We’ve made several usability tweaks to further streamline the whole experience. One slightly hidden, but handy addition is that you can now tap & hold an adjustment to reset it.

We’ve added a new setting so that you can choose whichever section you’d like to begin in when you edit your photos. This is nice if you always want to go straight to The Lab, for instance.

For those times when you want to go more intense with filters, we’ve added a new BOOST feature. You can now bump the intensity up to 200%.

You can take widescreen photos with the new 16×9 shooting mode. Bring out your inner Scorcese. Or Fellini.

Many of you were hitting a pipe too often while flapping, causing you to lose all your photos. That’s now fixed, thankfully.

And we’ve spent a good amount of time fixing bugs for this version. Many were esoteric and only occurred on particular hardware, but we did our very best to try and resolve all known issues for this release. If any of you experience any further issues, please report them to us.

Take 2: The API issue that was causing apps like Day One to not work properly with Camera+ is fixed now. For realsies this time. Thanks to the chaps at Day One for helping us to resolve this.

Crashes when taking picture on iPhone 4s
Feb 21 Update: problem with crash when saving photo has been eliminated! Tap Tap Tap has provided fantastic customer support when answering my questions and came through with an update as promised. I highly recommend this app and developer.

Update: After the last update, everytime I try and save a photo the phone crashes, and the photo isn't saved. I've had this App for years and love it, I just want it to work again!!!!

Update: they said they would have this fixed and it still isn't. App is useless until it is.

Best of the Best
I have tried many photo editing apps but this is my favorite! It trumps the adobe photoshop app by far. Color adjustments and scene modes are excellent, correcting color properly and allowing the user to create professional looking photos using only the iPhone camera (or any other photos you import). I only wish there was an option to blur specific areas of the photo - perhaps by using the finger to pinpoint which areas to blur. Other than that, it offers pretty much anything anyone would need to do simple edits to improve a cell phone photo :)

Hands down, the best photo app
I bought this app when it was brand new, and have seen it grow and improve, even though I loved it from the first time I used it.

I've paid for many and used even more, yet this app is THE ONE. I've had pros ask, impressed, what I use. I wish TTT would come up with something to charge for so I could give them more money. That is how valuable this app is.

Whoever writes the updated should get a raise. I get excited over updates just for that.

Hits it out of the park
Once again John Balestrieri / Tin Rocket proves he knows digital art better than any designer/programmer around. He seems to understand both the coding and the artistic, painting sides of things.

Unlike most "watercolor" filters or apps that just blur the colors and add a "find edges" overlay, Waterlogue seems to actually replicate the way water color paintings are created.

For those complaining that this app won't turn their dark blurry photos into works of art worthy of Andrew Wyeth-- GIGO. You need to start with a good photo in the first place to get a good result. It doesn't hurt to open the image in an image editor first to tweak it a bit-- blur the background if you don't want too much detail behind your subject, sharpen areas where you'd like to see lifework appearing, etc. Tweaking and playing with the images is part of the fun.

Along with Percolator, this is now one of my favorite image manipulation apps. Just eagerly awaiting an iPad version of Painty (hint hint) :-)

I have purchased a couple previous apps by these guys. "Popsicolor" was a good first draft to this latest effort. The results you can achieve in Waterlogue are just astounding.

I sometimes paint with a small travel kit of watercolors, but the more I've gotten into photography on my trips, the less I've used it. Now, with this app, I wonder if I'll ever pick up the brush again.

The images I've gotten with Waterlogue are even better than the App Store examples. The processing must be huge—it takes 20sec or so to render a large image on my iphone5.

I do wish it was possible to do a bit more tweaking within the app. There is already a large assortment of "styles" to choose from, as well as lightening/darkening. Still, I wish I could selectively apply dry-brush or wet blending techniques to portions of the image. But that might be too hard computationally (or muck up the UX). Just a suggestion.

In any case, congratulations to the developers!

Incredible
I'm normally a photo-filter hater (I avoid them like the plague in apps like Photoshop), but this app does a stunning job of emulating the real thing.

I'm giving it four stars for now, but will upgrade to five with two tweaks:

+ Add an option to erase the under drawing (as one often does when painting with watercolors). It is sometimes too overbearing and breaks the realism of the paint.

+ Add a super-soaked option that turns the image into an abstract wash of colors based on the photo -- very useful for wallpapers and as a base background for further illustration in other apps, potentially even for professional use.

It'd also be fun to be able to push the water around to get different bleed patterns, but that is a nice-to-have and won't affect my rating.

Amazing job! My favorite new app for sure.

By far my favorite photo editing app
I live to find the latest and greatest photo apps. This app gives you great quality from over 30 filters. You can add effects making photos look distressed any vintage. You can adjust the basics brightness, contrast, saturation, etc. and you can also add borders to the side of your photos for Instagram. I just learned that the other day. It's very simplistic, but great quality.

The only thing I would suggest is an easier way to view photos with the filters. There are so many choices that you should come up with a way to show 2-4 of the filters on the photo to compare it. That is always the most difficult decision!

Otherwise I'm not complaining. I love this app!

Absolutely in love
I love the interface but more importantly it's a stable app. It hasn't crashed (yet). The abundance of filters and variances for each filter by being able to change the intensity is great. My favorite feature is the light leak and dust filters. This is truly the best editing app I've used. I highly recommend it. I'm using this on an iPad and the experience is great. I would get the in app only when I get bored of all the features it currently comes with. You guys did a great job with this app. The only thing is that I wished that the save to camera roll feature was set default and that it also create it's own album instead of posting directly to the camera roll.

Very versatile, has everything you want in a photo editor.
Before I found this app, which only costs a measly 99 cents, I was always searching for new photo apps I could use to enhance and correct my pictures. The problem with it was that I needed to get three different apps to get all the functions I wanted. This app combines all those functions, and when I downloaded I happily erase the others and saved a lot of space on my phone. Not only that, but the control panel and different options are laid out beautifully. Keep up the good work! It is definitely worth every penny.

FIX IT
There are 4 lags that make the app basically worthless and annoying. 1. Randomly when I'm watching a video the quality will go from good to completely blurry and unwatchable. Skipping to other parts of the video to try to fix it can sometimes make the quality even worse! FIX IT! 2. Even when I have 3 bars of wifi, every half a second the video decides it's a "good" idea to waste my time and have it buffer for 5 minutes. Once again, skipping to other parts of the video works for about a second and then it continues to pause every half a second. In fact, it took me about 20 minutes to watch a video 2 minutes long because of this. FIX IT! 3. Whenever I click on a video, even when I have three bars of wifi, a message with some weird looking face comes up that says tap to retry. I end up tapping like 7 times before the video finally starts loading (which takes like 5 minutes btw!) 4. When I'm reading comments on a video and I do that tap to load more comments thing all the comments and suggested videos randomly disappear! Whenever I refresh, it just stays the same! These lags make the app horrible, useless, and annoying. I would rate it zero stars if I could. For whoever is reading this review DONT DOWNLOAD THIS APP! You're better off using Safari.

PLEASE FIX BLURRED VIDEO QUALITY
I for one love this app but it's frustrating and very annoying to see video quality degrade like this does. On my iPhone 4S it can go from super clear to where it's useless to even watch a video the way it blurs out which makes NO scenes to me to degrade a video quality to where it renders it useless. I always have to go to safari watch it there instead but much rather watch from the app while it's working right and ultra clear. I've downloaded update after update hoping it's an update to the my particular problem but always for some reason gets ignored. I assume this isn't an isolated issue? Please fix with next update. I can handle a little quality degradation but not when it's so blurry it hurts my eyes to even watch a video and can't make out anything on the video which all it's good for is listening to the sound which btw also goes down in quality but anyway please fix this and I'll give it 10 stars if I had that option but 5 for sure. Thanks

Playlist pausing
I have a playlist of my favorite band's interviews. Theres about 70 videos in the playlist. (Trust me, compared to some other people, this isn't weird) At night, I turn on the playlist because I can't fall asleep to silence, and it's like watching TV to fall asleep, just with a band. So I turn on the playlist and fall asleep, then wake up in the middle of the night, and every night, the video will be paused when I didn't pause it. No one else could be doing it because my door is locked at night, and the phone is like across the bed from me, so theres no way I could have paused it in my sleep. It always pauses on like the second video. It's slightly annoying because
1. I can tell how long I slept depending on which video I'm on when I wake up, and for me at least, that's convenient
2. Waking up to my idols' voices is what makes me able to wake up a bit more in the morning because it motivates me more.
Other than that, the app works fine for me!

I'm so scared
Okay, so I LOVE Instagram and do give it 5 stars but it's scaring me right now. It says it can't refresh my feed and that you guys are investigating it. Then when it finally works, I see a whole bunch of messages saying it's coming from the CEO. I don't know if it's true but it says that you have regram the photos and follow some account and then put a whole bunch of hashtags on it. I did it just in case but it says if you don't do it, it will delete my account. I guess this started when you guys updated it about the crashing and people are saying that you guys lost all your files on all the Instagram accounts. Please don't delete anyone's Instagrams. If I could here back on this that'd be cool. That way I don't have to post a whole bunch of #savemyIG2014 stuff on my account and lose followers. Please send out emails or something. Thank you for reading and please don't delete any accounts if it's true.

If you haven't heard of the popular app Instagram, you have been living under a rock. The best explanation of this app is a FaceBook with out statuses. You use pictures and 15-Second long videos to share your life with. You follow friends, family, and interesting people as well as celebrities and their posts show on your home tab. Instagram has 4 tabs plus a center upload button. The button all the way to the left is your home, second to the left is the Explore tab which let's you search your followers and your followees. The button second to the right is your notifications tab ( pretty obvious use) and the button all the way to the right is your profile! This is a really good app I would recommend it. The only downside I have experienced is the bugs when videos load, although it is not a very big issue It does get annoying, otherwise this is a very good app. I suggest downloading it!

it's not working anymore, please read
so I've had an Instagram for a little over 2 years, and suddenly two days ago, after I posted a picture and checked on the picture 24 hours later (because I don't have the pop-ups on) and saw I only had 3 likes. when I went to my news feed, it said that 31 people had liked it and 7 people commented. I cannot view any of the comments or how many actual likes I have. I have restarted my phone 3 times and logged out then back in. I even deleted the app, then got it again and logged back in. same result. then also, the day I wanted to post this picture, it wouldn't post. it said there was an error then froze. it froze my entire phone. thinking it was just trying to work and it was only my phone, I restarted it and tried to post the picture again, then the exact same thing happened. except this time, it started flashing on and off for about an hour and a half.
please fix this, I wanna be able to see the actual amount of likes I have if I can ever actually post a picture

Improving App
The bugs of previous versions have started to get tackled by the Snapchat team and the app grows every update. The "My Story", the newest major feature the app boasts, is an interesting idea that grows Snapchat from a simple timed picture display to a larger social media function.

The new filters, smart filters, and extra text are all enhancer of what the actual "Snaps" look like.

The forward facing flash option is a testament to the developers' ingenuity and creative use of the display to mimic a flash enables photo with the camera on the front of the phone.

The "replay" option is somewhat troublesome because is begs the question, "Do my snaps get deleted"? The replay function lets users essentially undelete what seems to be a permanently deletable file. Think twice about what kind of pictures you want to be sending, because the app may not be as secure as users think.

In conclusion, the app is fun, witty, and a new form of social media. This app is simple, straightforward, and is an enjoyment to use with friends.

FEATURE REQUEST:
- add a flipping option for a picture taken with the forward facing camera so users can read text that would normally be flipped.

I can't write text on my pictures anymore. it's dead when I try swiping for the little bar to add text.

Aside from this, u guys have grown soooo much in the last year. It's ridiculous!! we all love you, but you guys really need to step up your game. you might have started off low budget, but I doubt that's the case nowadays. Why can't I choose my own notification sound, or better yet, why doesn't it have a sound if it's own? i don't want the concept to change, and I don't want the formatting to change either. The simplicity of snapchat is what captivated me. but really guys? crashes and bugs?? that's a thing for the amateurs. pick up your game. give it some twist before it starts dying down and another source source of communication starts taking your place. make it easier for people to use and not get frustrated when using it. look at the reviews and tally up what people want. don't just make a small hidden improvement, blow it out of the ballpark!!

so to put my 2 cents about what I want improved/added:
-ability to have a preset group that I can just pick when it comes to sending mass snapchats.
-distinct notification alert, not old, generic iPhone dings.
-ability to take more that one picture and choose from a couple before editing and sending to friends
-no more crashes while I'm working on a picture/video!!!

Snapchat being weird
So I love to use this app alot. It's really fun but it's starting to make me angry. First of all when I first launch the app it just shuts down and takes me back home. That's not really a problem though since it works the second or third try but sometimes it doesn't even take me back home so that's good. The thing that's really making me want to uninstall this app is that all my friends say I'm screenshotting there pics when I'm clearly not. It doesn't happen all the time but it's most of the time and my friends let me know and there's nothing I could do to prove to them that I don't screen shot there pics. Sometimes I even go to the person that says I screen shot there pics and let them go through all my pics to prove that I'm not some kind of creep. It seems like this only happens to me. I use a iPod 4 16gb so is that the reason it does this. I don't know but I'm thinking about uninstalling this app. Needs to be fixed ASAP. I really did love this app too
